Pubs Reopening – How can we help?

After over three months of lock-down restrictions closing our pubs, there is finally light at the end of the tunnel for the nations treasure, The British Pub. Although there are reasons to be cheerful with pubs poised to re-open on the 4th July, we should expect to be welcomed back to a very different environment.

Some of the top industry experts have said…

“It might be the case that people have to wear masks, it might be that people have to have their temperature taken on entry,” says Alex Black, manager of Thekla, a 600-capacity club and music venue in Bristol.

“I don’t think, as we’re walking into a recession, that paying more is really an option,” says Amy, but she concedes making a profit will be a struggle.

Some of the changes we have seen in the retail sector have been limited numbers allowed in the venue, protection screens on tills and marking on the floor.

How can we help during the easing of lockdown restrictions?

Cleaning Staff – Out staff can be implemented to collect glasses, clean tables, wipe down communal areas and general cleaning duties.

Promotional Staff – With competition set to be massive, attracting customers with novelty features / discounted drinks & food will be key to making being open viable. Our staff promote with signs, flyers and word of mouth to drive business into your venue.

Queue Management Staff – To allow queues to be safely managed, we will be able to offer staff to count the number of guests and advise once at capacity.

SIA Staff – Our qualified security staff will be able to help reinforce the social distancing and capacity rules in case of non–compliance.
